What are folding templates?

Our new folding templates make it easier for you to make DIY gift wrapping for your loved ones. We know that not everyone has a plotter at home, and even though we try to give you detailed measurements and instructions in our posts, it can be difficult, especially for beginners, to recreate these DIY gift wrappings .
This is exactly where our folding templates come into play: Designed and manufactured by hand with lots of love in our magical world, they make recreating these small, creative treasures easier than ever. Regardless of whether you are looking for individual gift wrapping for birthday presents, Christmas or other occasions - with our folding templates you can make beautiful gift wrapping yourself in no time at all.
What do our folding templates offer?
- Easy to use : No plotter required, making it ideal for beginners and craft enthusiasts
- Creative gift ideas : Turns every gift wrapping into a small work of art
- Handmade and high quality : Carefully designed to make your work easier and achieve results that will inspire

Simply trace, cut out and glue together. Done!
For one gift wrapping you need:
- A folding template of your choice
- paper of your choice
- Scissors
- pencil & eraser
- ruler
- glue
- bone folder
Optional: scoring board , scoring pen, scalpel or cutter

Step 1
Draw the folding template
It's best to place your chosen paper in front of you with the back facing up and trace the edges of the folding template onto it with a pencil so that you can remove the guidelines more easily later. Pay attention to the alignment of your pattern.
Also mark the fold lines marked with a dashed line on the folding template. Important: you should either draw them exactly in the middle of the opening, or all parallel lines on the same edge. (e.g. all at the top, all on the right, etc.)

Step 2
cutting and folding
Now carefully cut out your drawing with scissors. We use a sharp knife to cut out the recesses (scalpel or cutter knife). Please work particularly carefully here so that you do not injure yourself.

Then you can fold the fold lines you drew in the previous step using either a ruler and bone folder/folding pen or a folding board. At this point you can also remove the auxiliary lines.

Step 3
Folding the bag
After you have cut out and folded everything, you can start folding.
Use your fold lines to help you and fold everything according to the template.
Some folding templates fold both inwards and outwards.

Step 4
The finale
Apply the adhesive of your choice to the designated areas (we recommend double-sided tape) and gradually create your finished gift bag .

So the basic structure of your DIY gift wrapping is now complete!

Now you can put your lovely little things into the bag and seal and decorate everything according to your taste.
We hope you enjoy making this!

Wow, welch schöne Idee. Ich würde mich sehr darüber freuen. 👋🏻
Das hat mir gerade noch gefehlt ! So eine tolle Idee. Dankeschön für die Gewinnoption !
Liebe Grüße Klaudia
