Instructions: Individual packaging with card hiding place

Today I'll show you a wow packaging that you can customize as you need it.

Preparation

Material :

for the upgrade:

Tool:

First, choose a size that you want your packaging to have. I pack
something sweet measuring 8.5 x 8.5 cm .

material overview

The packaging

Set your circle cutter to 9 cm . You will need 4 circles . I have
Two each cut out in different design papers for my packaging.
Alternatively, find a round glass that is the right size for you and mark two circles on your design paper with a pencil. Cut them out with scissors or use a suitable circle punch.

cut out circles with the circle cutter

Using the folding blade of the paper cutter, you can now fold the circles in half.

To do this, take a piece of paper in your hand and place it halfway, here 4.5 cm .
Make sure that the motif is on top and that you think about how the texts will
are visible on your packaging when folded.

Fold the middle of the circle cuts with a cutting board
tighten the fold edge with a bone folder

Then take a scrap of paper. You will need several cuts.
My circles are 90 mm in diameter, the lid of the box must be for the perfect
Closure should be 1 mm larger, i.e. 91 mm . The sides are 10 mm all around.

The bottom of the packaging is 1 mm smaller than the lid, i.e. 90 mm , the sides
all around are 15 mm .

Then the circles are laminated inside again and you need a piece
Paper on which you write your message for the person you want to give the gift to.

After you have cut your cover, base, lining paper and note paper, fold the cover and base with the paper cutter.

I make a cosmetic cut on the sides with scissors so that nothing sticks out from your packaging. Then you fold the fold lines with the bone folder.

cut corners
folding edges

Then you can stick the four circles on in the order you choose.

Glue the folds of the circle to the upper edge of the lid; the circles should not overlap.

glue and fold circles

Finally, glue the laminating paper onto the circle pieces on the lid of the packaging.

paste message
press firmly into the ground

Now place your note inside and fold the semicircles one by one into each other so that they close.

Now it's time to let your creativity run wild. For example, you can glue another design paper into the bottom of the packaging.

Put colored cardboard in the box

small upgrade:
If you want to keep your message safe, add a closure to your packaging box.

I used a strip of parchment that was 1.5 cm wide and 21 cm long.
You stick this in the middle of the lid of the packaging BEFORE you stick the circles on. If you want to close the closure magnetically, you have to attach a magnet under the lining paper and the second one to the parchment strip. Decorate the closure as you like so that the magnet is not visible and you can open it easily.

And your packaging is ready!
