Instructions: Fortune Cookies

A bit of happiness and joy without baking!

You can “package” loving messages in a delightful way, especially on New Year’s Eve, because you can always use luck.

Material you need:

• 1 x paper of your choice (we recommend our glossy paper for this)

• 1 paper for the text

Tools:

• Scissors or circle cutter
• Pencil and eraser
• Glue (Tombow)
• Bone Folder

All you need for the cookie mold is a circular piece of paper with a diameter of 10cm. Cut this out of a paper of your choice (our glossy paper makes it really special) using scissors or, better yet, a circle cutter. If you don't have one at hand, take a glass or a bowl and trace the edge.

Now fold the circle loosely in the middle so that the edges touch at the top and trace approx. 2cm in the middle with the bone folder. Then open it again.

When you now bring the circle together on the other two sides, make sure that one part overlaps the other. The fold line from the first step should point perpendicular to the overlapping part. Now you can press in the middle, i.e. the fold line, with one finger while you pull the ends of the biscuit towards you with two other fingers.

The biscuit is now pressed into shape.

At this point you should put your lovely message in the shape, as it will be glued in the next step.

Then put some glue between the touching 'biscuit sides' and press a little with both fingers, preferably from the inside.
