I'm sure many of you feel the same way...
You sit in front of the beautiful wreath papers and think to yourself:
How and where should I cut the paper?
Today I would like to show you how to make it a little easier.
Material
- Design paper of your choice
- Neutral sheet of paper (e.g. house collection )
- Base maps
- Card overlay
- Pencil
- ruler
- Cutter knife or scissors
DIY Stencil
What is very good and makes it easier to decide how best to cut the paper
or which section can be taken - is a TEMPLATE!
STENCILS in the sense that you cut out the format of your card from a neutral sheet (e.g. house collection).

I made a template for all four common card sizes that I regularly use. It's a good idea to cut the format out of the center of the sheet.

A few impressions when stencils are placed on the design paper and slid over the design paper.

The effect of the motifs is completely different and this definitely makes it easier to decide which part of the paper you want to cut and use!
Card overlay
Another option is to use card toppers. The principle is the same, except you don't have to measure and cut. Instead, you can simply punch out your favorite card toppers and use the resulting template to select your motif.

I hope that with this post I have been able to take away some of the fear of large motifs and I wish you lots of fun trying it out!
