    Perlmutt-Effekt mit Embossing Powder

    Pearlescent Effects with Embossing Powder

You know the feeling when you watch your embossing powder melt?

That pure excitement when the first brown grain turns into the most beautiful gold?

I still remember exactly how quickly this almost magical transformation took hold of me. The embossing powder has been a staple on my table for years.

Today I would like to introduce you to the very special Pearl Colors from WOW!

    Pearlescent Powders

I'll be honest - they don't look like much in the tin. They’re all just… white.

But these colors really have it all.

Once they melt, the unspectacular powder suddenly turns into a shimmering spectacle. It sparkles in the light almost like mother-of-pearl...

There are currently 5 colors to discover from the Pearl Colors:

All Pearl Colors are transparent, so you can achieve completely different effects with different stamp inks or different papers.

At first we only used them on white paper - but I'm wondering what they would look like on black, for example?

    Pearlescent Projects

Once you get the hang of it, you don't need much more.

Here we simply created a small and quick card using the 'Red Pearl' powder , the 'Vintage Toy' punch and various strings of pearls .

little bear card with red pearl and various strings of pearls

Tip: Use your Versa Mark to get a small area of embossing powder. Once it has melted and cooled down, you can cut out your dies directly through the embossed area.

Because the powder shimmers so beautifully in the light, I think it's a great addition to minimalist cards. It's just a real eye-catcher.

What would you do with these fantastic powders?

    From us for you
